Marianne Romanat - Pastor

Rev. Marianne Romanat is the founding pastor of FaithBridge UMC. She was appointed to plant this new congregation in Blowing Rock in June of 2002 by the Bishop and Cabinet of the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Marianne is married to Kyle Romanat, has two stepsons, Josh and Caleb, and two children, Marisa and Austin. Marianne is originally from Charlotte, NC, attended North Carolina State University and received undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, and then attended Columbia Theological Seminary and received her Master of Divinity degree. She loves to go on dates with Kyle, cook for her family, laugh out loud (very loud!), and play with her kids. She also loves to serve FaithBridge and see what God will do next.
Kyle Sigmon - Worship/Music Director and Youth Minister

Kyle is a local boy. He graduated from Hardin Park Elementary in 1999, Watauga High in 2003, and then Appalachian State in December of 2006. He majored in Philosophy and Religion and minored in music with guitar. He married his high school crush in December of 2006 and together they now have a son named Jacob and a daughter named Jenna. Kyle enjoys long walks on the beach, good conversation, and relaxing with his friends and family.
Ashley Payne Cook - Children's Minister

Ashley Payne Cook became FaithBridge UMC's part-time Children's Minister in February 2011. She is co-owner of Appalachian Rhythm Cloggers and has been clogging and dancing for almost 20 years. She graduated in December 2009 from Appalachian State University with degrees in Advertising and Dance. She is certified in Classical Pilates and is a Certified Clogging Instructor. Ashley married Daniel Cook in 2009 and they had their first child, Stella Cook, in December 2010.
Molly Bentley - Financial Secretary

Molly was born in Watauga County, is the daughter of Don and Erie Triplett, and lives in the Aho community. She graduated from Blowing Rock High School and King's College in Charlotte. She married Charles Bentley in 1965 and has three adult children: Lynne, Sandy, and Warren. Molly has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Molly's hobbies include reading, gardening, Sudoku, watching and attending the Panther's games, and playing with her great-grandchildren.
Laura Kaufman - Office and Volunteer Coordinator

Laura grew up in Vilas, graduating from Watauga High School in 2004. She studied music at UNC-Greensboro and graduated with degrees in Music Education and Flute Performance in 2008. She has recently returned to the area with her husband, Kenny, and daughter, Kayden, who was born in February of 2011. Laura loves to spend time with her family and two dogs, Elsie and Freddy.
