Director of Children's Ministries
FaithBridge UMC, a Lighthouse Congregation, is seeking a 10-hour per week, Christ-centered Director
of Children's Ministries. This position plans, coordinates, and executes all
aspects of the Children's Ministry (birth - 5th grade). Qualified candidates
shall have the ability to maintain existing programs and vision to grow new
programs and will possess the administrative skills necessary to perform
his or her duties and carry out details, as well as the interpersonal and
relational skills necessary for working with children, volunteers, and
parents.
Qualifications:
● Education: Preference for a four year degree in early childhood
education (or equivalent)
● Experience: Candidate must have experience as a volunteer in
working with children in a ministry or educational context and environment.
● Knowledge: Ideal candidate will have an understanding of the United
Methodist denomination (including theology) or a willingness to learn.
Pay will be negotiable upon education and experience.
